Pagosa Star Tea Co. was created from a simple idea: great drinks belong where people live, travel, and spend time outdoors — especially in communities shaped by seasons, tradition, and early mornings.
Our story connects deep Texas roots with a long-term commitment to Pagosa Springs.
Kent and Keith Tice are brothers who grew up with a shared respect for hard work, consistency, and hospitality — values that are foundational in Texas and translate naturally to life in Southwest Colorado.
Kent Tice brings decades of operational leadership and business experience from a career in the Texas Panhandle energy industry. He currently works for Chevron in Borger, Texas, and oversees the day-to-day operations of Pagosa Star Tea Co., including logistics, scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
In addition to his professional career, Kent has long been involved with local FFA and 4-H programs, raising livestock and working closely with youth to support agricultural education, leadership development, and confidence building. His involvement reflects a deep respect for rural communities and hands-on learning.
Keith Tice serves in an advisory role, providing occasional strategic guidance related to brand direction, customer experience, and long-term vision. Keith retired from corporate leadership in March 2026 following more than 13 years as an executive at a Fortune 500 company, with a professional background spanning food and protein science, operations, and technology.
Pagosa Springs is not a seasonal stop or a future plan — it is home.
Keith and his wife Nicki relocated full-time to their home in Alpine Lakes Ranch in September 2023, with the intention of remaining permanently. Nicki was born and raised in Pagosa Springs, and her family’s roots in the community run deep — including her mother, who has lived here her entire life. This connection brings a strong understanding of the importance of community, continuity, and building something that fits the place it serves.
Pagosa Star Tea Co. is designed around seasonal rhythms — early mornings during hunting season, coffee runs for skiers heading toward Wolf Creek Pass, spring anglers on their way to rivers and lakes, and summer visitors and local events. Our focus is on simple, familiar drinks — big iced teas, quality coffee, and seasonal specialties — served at the times people actually need them.
Pagosa Star Tea Co. blends Texas hospitality with Pagosa Springs authenticity. We are intentional about how we show up, when we serve, and the role we play in the community. We’re proud to be building something thoughtful, seasonal, and rooted — and we’re taking the time to do it right.

The Road Slush from Pagosa Star Tea Co. is designed to resemble those snow-packed or heavily traveled icy roads. Whether you enjoy them as they are or with an extra shot, this seasonal drink is blended just right to kick start your day with a touch of Texas hospitality!
